Thrush Mufflers 17696 Editorial Review
In a recent review of the Thrush 17696 Turbo Muffler, customers had mixed experiences with the product. When asked about the compatibility with a 2003 base Silverado, one customer responded affirmatively, noting that it will fit but the sound will be loud. However, the lack of specific dimensions provided by another respondent left a potential buyer without crucial information. Another customer found success with a 2008 BMW 328xi, praising the great sound and lack of raspiness. On the other hand, someone with a 2006 F150 5.4L was informed that while the muffler has the correct inlet and outlet size, it may require modification and welding. For older vehicles such as a 1965 Buick Lesabre, uncertainty remained regarding the fit, with a customer noting the muffler's short length. Additionally, a query about this product's compatibility with a 6.6L Duramax received a response cautioning against its use on a diesel engine. Lastly, a customer interested in fitting the muffler to a 2008 RAV4 4-cylinder was told that while it is universal, it may require fabrication to align with the tailpipe. **
