IOTA Engineering IQ4 Smart Charger
IOTA Engineering IQ4 Smart Charger The IOTA Engineering IQ4 Smart Charger offers a convenient and effective solution for monitoring and maintaining battery charge levels. This device is particularly useful for those using lead-acid batteries, as it helps to equalize the batteries and ensure a safe float charge. One important feature of the IQ4 is its compatibility with various chargers. It can work with 12, 24 (DLS-27 series), or 36-volt chargers, as long as they have the phone jack. However, it is important to note that it will not work with the PD 9200 charger. The PD 9200 should already have a built-in Charge Wizard that serves the same purpose as the IQ4. The IQ4 is designed to be easy to use. Once it is plugged in, it continuously monitors the charge level and maintains a safe float charge. It can also be removed if you are using IOTA for other power conversion solutions. Another advantage is that the IQ4 comes with a cord that is approximately 12 inches long and has a male plug on each end. While the IQ4 is generally well-received, there are a couple of Considerations to keep in mind. Firstly, it is important to ensure compatibility with your specific charger before purchasing. Secondly, the manual for the IQ4 is not included with the unit, but it can be downloaded from the IOTA Engineering website. Overall, the IOTA Engineering IQ4 Smart Charger is a reliable and effective device for monitoring and maintaining battery charge levels. Its compatibility with different chargers and ease of use make it a valuable addition to any lead-acid battery setup.
