The microfibers on the mop are 6" x 17" with 3" x 14" being the actual area where the mop head goes in. The mop head can be used with dusting sprays like Endust or Pledge revitalizing oil spray. However, it requires an oval shaped frame to support it, and it cannot be used with a Swiffer handle. Though, the flaps that screw onto the mop can be replaced.
