The book covers a lot of different facts about spider bodies, their webs, and eating and laying eggs. It contains quality photos that are captivating for any age. However, the book doesn't have the names of all the spiders on all images. A 7-year-old grandson had the spider book on his Christmas list, and it was finally found on Amazon. It made for a great Christmas present for the grandson. The book was used in a project for students, and it was liked by them. One complaint that came up was that some of the pages were falling apart upon arrival and needed repair with rubber cement. Overall, the National Geographic Readers: Spiders are an excellent teaching tool for young children.
