It must be noted that it will work only with American Sized Knobs that typically employ a set-screw to attach the Knob to the Shaft. The Guitar Parts Store has pointed out that this potentiometer is a log pot. A customer complained that the potentiometer does not produce 250k ohms, and other customers have confirmed that the ohms might vary. However, most of the reviews seemed to be positive as customers found this potentiometer to be a good replacement for OEM PBass parts, smooth and easy to solder, despite some installation difficulties with regular Fender Strat knobs. Some customers also pointed out a significant volume drop-off after 8. The potentiometer comes with a .01mf @ 250V capacitor. In value for money, the Fender potentiometer is worth Considering.
