رأي أخصائي التغذية
The Munchables Dragon Sensory Chew Necklace is primarily a sensory tool rather than a nutritional product, designed to provide oral stimulation for individuals who may have sensory processing needs. Nutritionists generally do not evaluate chewable jewelry like this for its nutritional benefits, as it does not contain food ingredients nor provides caloric value. Potential drawbacks include the risk of wear and hygiene concerns, as it must be kept clean to avoid exposure to bacteria. It can also be unsuitable for individuals with specific allergies if they contain non-food grade materials. Overall, while it may aid in sensory regulation, it does not contribute to diet or nutrition and should be used with care, especially for individuals with chewing needs or those who might impulsively chew on non-food items.
Munchables Necklaces Editorial Review
The Munchables Dragon Sensory Chew Necklace is a chewable necklace designed for children and adults with sensory needs, particularly those with ADHD, autism, and SPD. The pendant is made with BPA/Phthalate-free silicone and is hard all the way through. It is approximately 2 1/4" by 1 3/4" in size and comes with a lanyard that measures around 28". The knot within the breakaway clasp can be adjusted to shorten the length. The necklace is dishwasher safe, but the cord must be removed before washing. The customers who reviewed the product expressed high satisfaction and claimed that the product is sturdy, firm yet squishy, easy to clean, and helpful for sensory issues. Some used it as a fidget toy, whereas others used it to stop nail-biting or lip-chewing habits. The design is discrete, and some customers appreciated the attractive look of the necklace. However, it is unclear where the product is made.
