Valterra Sewer Hoses Editorial Review
The Valterra SS25 Sewer Solution 25 Ft Extension Hose serves as a great extension for RV sewer hoses. It comes with an aluminum tube to connect the original hose and a short coupler to connect both hoses together. The extension hose also has a sleeve to connect both hoses together, and both ends are pushed onto the sleeve. It is easy to install, but the hose is coiled tightly and is very stiff. Laying it out straight and letting the sunlight soften the hose will make it without any kinks or coils. With the Valterra SS25 Sewer Solution 25 Ft Extension Hose, it is possible to empty both gray and black tanks in under 10 minutes, even lifting 1 foot in elevation from trailer discharge height. It is suitable for situations where the discharge needs to be elevated higher than what is possible with gravity discharge from the 3" pleated hose. However, it uses a lot of water, and users may end up with mostly water in their totes. The hose is also not able to spool on less than a 14” diameter. The ID of the Valterra SS25 Sewer Solution 25 Ft Extension Hose is 3/4", and it is suitable for replacing the 10' hose included in the SS box.
