MIDI Solutions MIDI Interfaces Event Processor Plus Editorial Review
The Midi Solutions Event Processor Plus MIDI Interface has garnered a diverse array of customer feedback, encapsulating both praise and criticism, which indicates its dual nature as a product. Users appreciate its versatility and functionality, as it is capable of translating, filtering, and modifying MIDI messages effectively. Those who managed to navigate its programming complexity have highlighted its usefulness in situations requiring specific MIDI command adjustments, making it indispensable for complex setups. However, the product’s strengths are somewhat marred by reports of a challenging and unintuitive programming interface. Many users expressed frustration with the software, citing a convoluted workflow that makes it difficult to accomplish tasks. The reliance on MIDI power has also drawn criticism, as not all MIDI devices support this feature, potentially limiting the product's usability in certain scenarios. Despite this, the quality of customer support from MIDI Solutions, particularly from John Fast, has stood out as a mitigating factor for those struggling with programming, as he offers assistance that enhances the overall user experience. The collective experience reflects a product that, while powerful and highly functional, requires a level of dedication to learn and implement effectively. It shines in the hands of those willing to invest time in mastering its programming capabilities, while others may find the hurdles too steep to overcome. **
