Gorillaz Format: Audio CD Editorial Review
The Now Now [CD] is a polished and cohesive album from Gorillaz that leans into a more pop-oriented style while retaining the distinctive sound the band is known for. Many fans appreciate its atmospheric tracks, with songs like 'Humility' praised for their emotional depth and memorable lyrics. Reviewers highlight the album's ability to showcase 2D's emotional journey, making it feel like a more intimate listening experience. With standout tracks such as 'Magic City' and 'Lake Zurich,' the album reflects a shift from the previous release, focusing more on band members' contributions rather than collaborations. Overall, it's a well-rounded album that resonates deeply with listeners.
