It is a completely submersible, seal-less centrifugal magnetically driven pump, which means it has no shaft seal that can cause leaks or malfunctions. The motor and motor cooling system are epoxy encapsulated, providing complete moisture protection and allowing the pump to run in open air or even fully submerged in liquid. With its run-dry capability, the SEAFLO SFCPA1-G500-01 is designed to automatically shut off if it detects that there is no water available.
