Because a fire ant queen can travel as far as ten miles from the original colony to start anew, control solutions that simply kill ants on contact are rarely successful. You have to find and kill the queen. You have to sting first before the colony spreads. Whereas other insecticides are content with only killing the few ants they reach, Amdro Fire Ant Bait works well beyond the first assault. Engineered to be irresistible to scout ants, the bait is carried back and fed to the queen.
