The Bellinger XR16 digital mixer for iPad/Android Tablet offers great convenience and functionality for live performances. With built-in WiFi, users can control the mixer wirelessly from their PC, smartphone, or tablet. The software works well and the system saves settings effectively. One notable drawback is that the FX sends are limited to four effects, including the insert effects for individual channels. It would have been preferable to have the option to use separate insert effects alongside the FX sends. However, the individually assigned channels are equipped with essential features such as compressor, de-esser, parametric EQ, and graphic EQ. Another limitation is that the XR16 only has a 2CH USB port for REC/PLAY, so users who want to use it as an audio I/O with their PC will need to Consider getting the XR18 model. Overall, Considering the price point, the Bellinger XR16 offers impressive sound quality and user-friendly operation. It is a valuable tool for live sound in smaller venues or clubs.
