Answer: It has a rating of 5 out of 10 for a moderate security rating. We are very happy with the security this lock has provided so far. It is in it's second year of use on a college campus that has a very high rate of bicycle theft and has keep the bicycle secure. -

Is it possible to get two locks keyed alike?
Answer: As of right now they do it on a special order basis for certain locks. I am waiting to see if they can tell by serial number of lock if they keys are alike. -

The key to this lock has quit working and i'm stuck with a bike locked to my porch that i can't unlock. has anyone else had this problem? advice???
Answer: Have you tried shaking the lock? I usually alternate shaking and trying the key til it opens. Good luck! (Hope you also send Kryptonite’s President a note about discontinuing this lock.) -

Answer: You need the key to lock it-2 keys come w the item. Kryptonite has a key replacement program if your keys get lost. Just save the key code or register the key code w Kryptonite. Then contact the company if a replacement is needed. -
