Answer: Sauder units taller than 65" do not have a finished top. Once the unit is standing upright, it will not be visible.

The Sauder Beginnings 5-Shelf Bookcase in Soft White finish is a standard-issue bookshelf that is 71 1/8" high, 24 1/2" wide, and 11 1/2" deep. The adjustable shelves can hold a maximum of 35 pounds and the fixed shelves hold a maximum of 50 pounds. Additional shelves can be ordered through the manufacturer. The shelves are movable to assigned spots through pin-holes. Customers either found the bookshelf easy to assemble, or found it wobbly and had to buy metal supports to keep it standing. One customer received the product five days before the delivery date and it was easy and fast to assemble with no marks. Another customer found it cheaply made and feared it would fall apart. Some customers had issues with putting the bookshelf together and found it frustrating and ridiculous that they had to screw in 2" long wood screws with no guides at multiple critical locations.
